You Strange as Angels Shirt | Ocean Angel Graphic Tee

You, strange as angels, dancing in the deepest oceans.

This design grew from a lyric I have loved for decades.

I have always heard that line as poetry. It is brief, but it creates an entire world in my head: something ethereal, beautiful, strange, and a little lonely. The angel and the ocean are my own visual response to that feeling.

The weathered blues and greens keep the artwork soft and dreamlike, almost like a memory you can’t quite place but never really lose.

This design is for people who pay attention to words, who underline lines in books, who carry phrases around for years, and who know that sometimes a handful of words can hold an entire feeling.

Every design has a backstory. This one started with a lyric I could never quite get out of my head.
