Some Alabama fans watch football with a calm, reasonable sense of perspective.
I assume.
I have not personally met any.
This one is for the woman who does not merely expect Alabama to win. She considers winning the natural order of things, and any deviation from that arrangement requires an investigation.
She has questioned the play calling, the officiating, the quarterback, the defensive scheme, the weather, the conference, and possibly the moral character of everybody involved.
She has wanted to fire a brand new coach after one game.
One.
And before that, she was perfectly capable of being irritated with Nick Saban because Alabama won, but apparently did not win by enough.
That is a very specific level of football entitlement.
When you spend years expecting championships, a perfectly respectable victory can somehow start feeling like evidence that something has gone terribly wrong.
Feral for Football is for the Alabama fan who is deeply invested, highly opinionated, and completely prepared to conduct a postgame review from the couch.
She may declare the season over in the second quarter.
She may insist somebody needs to be fired.
She may swear she cannot keep doing this to herself.
And then she will be right back in front of the television next Saturday, because apparently this is just how the relationship works.
The rough graphite and colored pencil style gives this game day raccoon plenty of personality without turning her into a traditional mascot shirt. Crimson, black, charcoal, and houndstooth inspired details give it a familiar Alabama feel while keeping the artwork original.
